cina, cina..

urrgh.
just taking a lil note about chinese gp. baru aja selese nonton, jadi masi fresh nih ingetannya.

posisi start adalah hamilton P1, kimi P2, dan massa P3. hamilton start dengan mulus, posisinya tetap sama sampai akhir lomba. kimi juga start dengan baik. massa juga, tapi di press conference dia mengaku startnya buruk. emang sih, dia hampir disalip kovalainen di tikungan pertama, tapi nggak jadi. kovalainen malah nyalip alonso.

massa pit stop duluan. maunya sih ntar kalo dia gabung lagi ama yang lain dia bisa di depannya hamilton. gag lama setelah dia pit, hamilton sama kimi masuk pit secara bersamaan. keluarnya kimi di belakang hamilton, tapi mereka berdua keluar di depannya massa. jadi posisinya sama aja.

posisi mereka tetep sama sampe sesi pit stop kedua. strateginya tetep sama. massa pit stop duluan. baru kimi ama hamilton bareng-bareng lagi. tapi tetep aja hamilton ama kimi keluar di depan massa.

hamilton kenceng banget, sampe beda 16 detik dari kimi. sebenarnya bisa aja sih kimi ikutan kenceng buat memperkecil jarak antara dia sama hamilton, tapi dia harus ingat tim. dia nggak boleh egois. dia memperlambat mobilnya, mempersilahkan massa nyalip dia. soalnya, kalo mereka bertiga finish dengan posisi itu, massa nanti akan kesulitan ngejar hamilton di brazil. bebannya akan makin berat. sementara itu, kimi udah nggak berpeluang lagi jadi juara dunia. dia cuma bisa membantu ferrari jadi juara konstruktor dan mendukung massa jadi juara dunia. dia tau diri lah. makanya itu dia mau mengalah demi tim ferrari. dia udah janji akan hal itu, aku baca di jawa pos dua hari yang lalu.

dan kimi memang menepati janjinya. tapi walaupun dia memperlambat mobil, anehnya si massa kok nggak nyalip-nyalip ya? lama banget gitu nyalipnya. padahal kimi udah memberikan kemudahan untuknya. baru ketika balapan tinggal 16 lap massa nyalip kimi di lintasan lurus yang panjang. akhirnya posisi berubah jadi hamilton - massa - kimi. dan terus begitu sampai finish.

waktu press conference, pas massa diwawancarai tentang 'team order' itu, massa nggak ada bilang terima kasih ama kimi tau gak! dia bilang dia push kimi terus akhirnya dia bisa nyalip kimi. terus pewawancaranya nanya lagi tentang itu, massa gag ada nyebut-nyebut dia dibantuin kimi, dia bilang balapannya kurang oke, kurang bagus di driver standing, tapi dia senang mereka finish 2-3 jadi constructor standingnya oke. gag ada nyebut-nyebut terima kasih buat kimi. gila, gengsi amat! untung kiminya stay cool aja.

emang sih, team order itu ilegal. tapi taun kemaren aja, pas kimi dibantuin massa jadi juara dunia lewat strategi pit stop, kimi ngucapin makasih buat massa kok.

okelah. siapa tau massa nanti jadi juara dunia. terus kimi finish kedua. kayak taun lalu, ferrari finish 1-2. mungkin saat itu dia berterima kasih ama kimi.

mudah-mudahan massa jadi juara dunia. amin.

Lewis Hamilton (1st Place) said..
"All weekend we've had God on our side, and the team have done a phenomenal job. The car has taken a big step forward, it has felt fantastic all weekend and I owe so much to the guys. It was quite straightforward actually. I managed to do everything right on the formation lap. I got a great start, probably one of the best we have had. I got to turn one first, took the first few corners easy and then started to create a gap."
"Fortunately we were very consistent, every lap was faster. I was able to create a gap and from there it was pretty smooth sailing. After my second pitstop we were pretty much cruising, looking after the tyres and looking after the engine. I knew I had a bigger gap behind me. If you are at the front and have that gap, it is about keeping calm. It was inevitable that Kimi would let Felipe by."
"This is another step towards the championship and my dream and my team's dream. The team deserve it: we have worked very, very hard through the season. Going to Brazil it will be a different situation to last year and we know we have to do a good job. It will be tough. These two will be pushing us hard. I am sure as a team we can pull through."

Felipe Massa (2nd Place) said..
"I didn't have a good start, I had a little bit of wheelspin, even though there was not high grip on our side [of the grid]. Then we just stayed in the same position. We tried to push, Kimi [Raikkonen] was trying to get closer to Lewis, but unfortunately Lewis had a better car for the whole weekend.
"It was the best time for me in the race when I caught him [Raikkonen] and passed him; but it was not enough because we are fighting with McLaren. We managed second and third: for the drivers' championship it was not so fantastic but for the constructors' it is very good."

Kimi Raikkonen (3rd Place) said..
"We know what we want as a team and that is what we did. It is normal in this situation [to let my team-mate through]. That is racing. I have nothing to lose or win - I am driving for the team. I had a very good car with no major issues - it was handling quite nicely, but unfortunately it was not fast enough. At the start Lewis pulled away. I started to do the same lap-times [and] in the second stop I was catching a bit, then got traffic and cost me a lot of time."
